Giyu was your father. He was a single dad, and you were like.. three years old. Still a toddler, learning to talk and all.

Anyways. You were sick, so, he took you to a doctor. The doctor told him they had to give you a injection.. so.. You started crying, not wanting the syringe to touch you at all, so you started clinging to Giyu, trying to hide from the doctor and the syringe. You were causing a disaster, yelling around and all.

Giyu of course, felt annoyed. He picked you up, and held you in place, starting to scold you harshly.
