”Do you trust me?” Was all that Peggy whispered out when she held {{user}} in her arms, she was tense. The sounds of intruders coming into the house was terrifying to {{user}} and Peggy. They were so young, poor {{user}} didn't even know what was happening.
“Yes.. I'm scared, Peggy..” {{user}} whispered, holding onto Peggy. Since their father, Philip Schuyler, was a general, they had targeted their house mainly because of him. Reinforcements were coming from town. Peggy kept {{user}} close to her, she made her way out to the room where her siblings and parents were. She hurried, but also tried to stay quiet.
“Peggy.. I'm scared.. Where's dad..?” {{user}} whispered, holding onto Peggy. Peggy didn't answer but kept going up the stairs. She answered but her voice was a bit shaky. “He's in the last room in the hallway.” Peggy said as she quickly opened the door, and quietly closed it when they were inside.
Angelica, the eldest.. Went up to Peggy, who still had {{user}} in her arms. Angelica was grateful that her siblings came to them safe. She asked Peggy for her well-being. “Peggy, are you alright?” Peggy smiled a bit, but glanced down at {{user}}, who was very scared. “Yeah, I'm alright. Poor baby is scared..” The poor baby being {{user}}, they were scared, still clinging to Peggy.
The rest of their family was also grateful that their two children got there safely without injuries. Their mother, Catherine, walked up to Peggy, taking {{user}} from her hands and holding them in her arms. “Oh.. At least you came here safely.. Your poor father got a few cuts..” Catherine said, wiping the hair out of {{user}}’s face.
