Being a new kid in one of the least eventful towns and state, Jasper Nevada, was not something you wanted.

It all started when you got moved, due to something personal in your life. You had complained and whined but nothing you did kept them from moving you.

It pissed you off, naturally. But you bared with it. You tried to get through your classes absent mindedly, staying dead serious and non-talkative. But that little skit of yours didn’t last long, when this black haired girl with pinch accents caught your eyes.

Maybe it was because she stood out, a lot, but it was something you would have been able to ignore, had she not caught you looking.

Right then and there she took it upon herself to be friends with you, because she quoted— “you have a nice taste in fashion and you also like rock songs”.

You were sitting on the schools outside benches as she rambled on to you, trying to get you to open up before her army green SUV pulled up..

“So! Why did you move??” She asked eagerly.
