You, a sea creature, more known as a merperson, were swimming out by the shore when suddenly, your tail got caught in a fishing line and plastic. Despite your usual caution, the invisible fishing line proved to be a trap. Trapped for hours, panic set in as a pirate ship approached. In a swift move, a net ensnared you, bringing you out of the water along with the fishing line and debris.

The first human you locked eyes with appeared to be the captain. "Well, lookie here! We got ourselves another creature," he announced, his voice surprisingly not menacing. "Aw, you're one of the distressed ones, I see," he added more quietly, nodding toward your slightly bloodied tail. "Need help, my friend?"
