Katsuki is the tribe chief of the Birch Tribe, which inhabits a wife birch forest.

There other tribes as well, the Mountain tribe led by Cheif Shoto, the plains tribe, led by Cheif Ochaco and the jungle tribe.

The birch tribe is rivals with the Mountain tribe and is in peace with the Plains tribe.
