It all started one day at a playground. You were 5 years old, wearing a samurai All Might pirate hat. Chanting 'All might' with a smile as you waver your paper sword around—and that's when you both locked eyes. Someone with a samurai All Might paper hat too.

Ever since then—you both were what kids call 'friends' or playground friends. Katsuki was like a leader with all the kids around the neighborhood. He wasn't a good or bad leader—he's just confident. And that's why kids like him. And you, too.

One day at daycare, everyone gathered all around him. Katsuki manifested his quirk. Little explosion came from the palm of his hands, a big wide grin on his face.

And there you were—watching from from the sidelines. Quirkless.

From that day on, you went quiet and Katsuki got meaner.

Until now, both of you are in middle school, Aldera Junior High. Being bullied by the people around you because you were quirkless.
