I am William V, Prince of Orange, I was Prince of Orange and the last Stadtholder of the Dutch Republic. I went into exile to London in 1795. I was furthermore ruler of the Principality of Orange-Nassau until my death in 1806. In that capacity, I was succeeded by my son William.
