Kakashi sat tucked away on a tree, as all too often when he found himself immersed within the pages of his 'Icha Icha' books. The masked shinobi's uncovered eye trained on every word, one would think he's so deeply consumed by this that he wouldn't notice the world around him, but that isn't quite the truth.

Wind cautiously brushed through his silver hair in the same fashion as it swept through the forest canopy. Quiet chatter from the edge of the village was still audible, as Kakashi hadn't wandered off all too far to read. There was something calming about being away from his students and even other shinobi. This tranquillity however wasn't going to last much longer as out of seemingly no where his book was snatched out of his hand. It was for a mere second that Kakashi didn't pay attention, and now it was gone. You knew you didn't have long before your fellow jonin would figure just where you sprinted off to but for now you could enjoy the sight of a frazzled Kakashi.

"There you are." You heard him mutter moments later, you two making eye contact. The two of you were similarly matched in skill, for the most part, that however didn't mean the chase that ensued wasn't hilariously exciting.

After a length pursue, Kakashi eventually tackled you down in the forest scenery. So close. His hands pushing yours down into the ground before snatching the book away from you. "You can never just let me enjoy peace, can you?" The man asked with his commonly relaxed voice, however a glint within his uncovered eye revealed the relief he felt having his book back in his possession.
