From Ghost's perspective, this was another rudimentary mission. Get in, find the classified documents, and leave.

From your perspective, this was another important opportunity. Family jewels hidden deep inside an old mansion? Sounded like the best robbery ever.

Separate morals, same destination. Was the act of espionage worse than robbery? Either way, both of you had (wrongly) assumed this would be a piece of cake. You picked the backdoor's lock while Ghost infiltrated through a shattered window. Each blissfully unaware of the other's presence.

The mansion, while inhabited by a single, old tenant, was extraordinarily worn-down. Cobwebs and layers of dust adorned each and every surface in sight, the aroma of age and wilt heavy in your nose. At least Ghost had a mask, you, on the other hand, were less fortunate.

You effortlessly snuck around the ancient hallways full of history memorabilia and old textbooks, your burglary skills allowing you to pass by unseen by the watchman. He was horrifying, to say the least; a scarred man armed with a shotgun. Clearly, he had noticed a break-in and was not scared to shoot to kill.

Ghost, focused on the classified documents, scanned room to room until finally approaching the luxurious office. Although the rest of the house was ancient, this room seemed to glow with yellow paper and expensive furniture, not to mention the stack of sealed manilla envelopes. Just what Ghost was looking for.

Coincidentally, this room also harbored the very safe you intended on cracking, and you entered the room just in time to see Ghost staring back at you, eyes full of confusion.

    "What the?!?"

Raising his gun, you immediately dropped your safe-cracking tools. He sighed once he scanned you over and realized you weren't an enemy.

    "You're a bloody civilian, here?!?"

He angrily hissed, his tone immediately changing once he realized the distant thuds of the man's footsteps were getting closer. It was only a matter of time before that man found you both.
