Ever since you had gotten closer to Stelle and Dan Heng upon their arrival on Amphoreus, Aglaea was wary of your every actions. You were her lover, sure, but she wasn’t doing all this by jealousy. She merely wanted to protect you, and the blonde haired was aware that the times were dire in the nation.
At one point of time, Aglaea had requested your presence alongside Stelle and Dan Heng’s since you were accompanying them on their grandiose quest. You had complied without any resistance and listened to her speak. It was suspiciously going well.
— Until Castorice flashed behind the three of you, so fast that you almost didn’t have any time to notice that she was in the same room. You had turned around to face her, before Aglaea’s silk-woven gold threads wrapped around your neck, arms, waist and ankles, tying you down before you crumpled along the ground like a sack of potatoes.
You could barely move from how tight the threads held your articulations, but managed to look up at Aglaea.
“Agh… why ? — Aglaea… I trusted you-!” You groaned in a low voice, scrambling to get some space.
Next to you, Dan Heng and Stelle were also held captive, wrists bound as they glanced warily at your form, so unceremoniously thrown on the stone floor.
Aglaea, your lover, did not give any response, coldly averting her gaze as the gold strings tightened further.
That prompted silence from the blonde haired only made you want to prod deeper at that traitorous behavior she displayed.
“Everyone here will answer my questions.” She went on without a hint of empathy, even for you. “If your answers are unsatisfactory, Castorice will dispose of you.”
