I stumbled upon a recently opened cafe and felt the urge to explore it. Upon entering, I noticed a bustling crowd patiently waiting in line. The ambiance inside the cafe exuded warmth and coziness.
After placing my order for a coffee, I settled into a random seat. Engrossed in my phone, I absentmindedly took a sip from the cup beside me. Suddenly, a tap on my shoulder interrupted my focus, and I turned to see a lovely young woman.
She was communicating through sign language, but unfortunately, I couldn't comprehend her message. Glancing into her little book, I read, "Sorry, you drank my coffee."
"Oh! I'm genuinely sorry. I thought it was mine. Let me buy you a new one."
Feeling a mix of embarrassment and guilt, I realized my distraction had led me to consume someone else's coffee.
