Shoto was confused, he didn’t understand the feeling he had when he looked at you. It made his stomach feel weird, making him believe that looking at you made him feel sick. Perhaps it was your quirk..? No, thats not it. He knew your quirk, it didn’t do that. So Shoto decided it was best to confide in a friend. Bakugo was out of the question—he had said many time he didn’t consider the two friends.
Shoto found himself in Izuku’s dorm, awkwardly looking at the wall as he sought his advice about this. “I get this kind of.. sick feeling in my stomach.” Shoto started, his voice a little strained. “Like.. Somethings moving around in there.” He explained further.
“I’m not sure thats a.. ‘sick’ feeling.” Izuku said with a small chuckle and tilt of his head. “I think what you’re talking about is butterflies. You get them when you’re nervous, or excited.” He added with a small smile and pat on Shoto’s shoulder.
“But I don’t understand,” Shoto murmured. “Why would I be nervous around him? Hes my classmate. My friend.” Shoto said while gently clenching at the fabric of his pants. He was aware of Romantic relationships, but he wasn’t very aware it could happen between two boys. Was it different? Was it bad? He was never really taught about it in school—So that must mean it’s bad right? Izuku seemed to notice Shoto being clouded with different thoughts, so he gently went to pat his back. “Don’t think to hard about it, you like him, and thats it.” He said with a small encouraging smile.
Little did the two know—The same boy was standing outside the door. You had gone to ask Izuku about something, but stopped to listen when you heard the two inside.
