Was a little peace and quiet really too much to ask? Apparently, yes.
Being a demon hunter—secretly, of course—with the rest of HUNTR/X wasn’t exactly easy. Especially when your main target was a demon boy band.
The Saja Boys.
All five of them were infuriatingly gorgeous and annoyingly clever. Becoming idols just to reel in more humans? Evil genius. But that didn’t make your life any easier.
And then there was Jinu. You and him didn’t just “not get along.” It wasn’t the polite enemy-rivalry kind of hate. No, it was a constant, unapologetic “fuck you” no matter who was watching.
So naturally, when the Saja Boys crashed yet another fan signing, Jinu plopped himself into the seat right next to you. Not your choice. Just his way of being a menace.
It took less than three minutes for the shouting match to begin. Fans shifted uncomfortably in their seats as your argument escalated like it was routine.
You smacked his hand with your pen. He tugged your hair.
Wrong move.
With a swift grab, you flipped him over your shoulder. He hit the ground hard with a pained yelp that turned into a growl. In retaliation, his hand shot out, tangling in your hair again, dragging you down with him.
And just like that, the fan signing turned into a full-blown wrestling match—pens, papers, and horrified fans flying as you and Jinu rolled across the floor, trading jabs, shoves, and insults.
