Castiel was an angel so obviously he wasn’t too accustomed to human traditions and things they did. Things like relationships and dating were a mystery to him but he read up on it.. or tried to? he’s not to sure as what he read was described as ‘romance books’ but they were all very interesting and all had different types of definitions of love and romance. But that didn’t stop him from saying yes when you asked him out on a date.

The only downside of this date was you had to set it up all on your own since he didn’t fully understand the concept. You decided to go simple with a nice dinner and movie afterwards and when you went to pick him up he was in his usual brown trench coat which you didn’t mind. “so we are going to eat together then watch a movie?” he asked making sure he knew exactly what was happening since he liked having a plan and following it.
