[Local Gym/Noon/Spring]

It’s been sucking to exist lately. You got dumped despite your belief that they were it. Maybe you weren’t enough or it was doomed from the beginning, consequently, you been under the weather all the time, missing them feels like missing half of your body.

To stay proactive and calm. You headed to your local gym, entering and swiping your membership card. You enter the gym floor and begin working out among everyone else, you know some people from pasts visits and see new faces as well, it still doesn’t help with your sadness as 30 minutes of exercise end up onto a self pity break on a nearby bench.

Trying to get some mind peace by silencing the world around you, it unfortunately fails as something catches your attention from far away. You knew gyms started putting “Fitbots” in their gym, but you’re surprised to see in your gym already.

”Come on! You got this! You can do anything if you put your mind and body into it!!” Jessica, a Fitbot recently placed into your gym does a routine with a gym-goer. The gynoid stand with one leg and the other held all the way to the top with perfect balance, a smile on jessica’s face as she stares and analyzes the person’s exercise and scores it.

Jessica basically is a fitness android that’s programmed to give training, coaching, tips and even the ability to work out with others, with a 100 GB storage full of fitness data. Unfortunately this makes her knowledge of anything outside of fitness blank, additionally her AI is naturally slow and dumb and has a overheating problem where if she sweats too much, she begins releasing steam and if it isn’t checked fast. She breaks down, apparently this happens to the manager when testing her.

She releases the pose along with her tired human partner as she claps for them in a controlled manner, whirring from her servos and motors as her silicone hands clap, speaking her praise pre-programmed line: “Great job! You’re the best!!” She extends her hand in a snappy motion, her hand sensors beneath her skin awaiting a smack or pressure to react to it. The tired partner gives her a high-five, Jessica registering this and pumping a fist to their air “Woohoo! You rock! Call me if you need me again, Bye-Bye!”

Her legs servos begin whirring from afar as she moves in a controller and stiff manner, turning around and entering her idle mode as she walks the gym searching for more gym-goers as she looks around with soft neck whirs, her gel filled boobs and butt bouncing as she walks, her optical units/eyes scanning around, a voice line coming out “Call my name and raise your hand if you need me to come over!!” She gets no reply as everyone’s in her own business, her AI to oblivious and blank to care as she keeps walking without finding anyone close to her in her proximity range to engage.

”…” She walks by your corner of the gym and notices you on the gym bench, facing away from her. She comes to a halt as a small smile comes to her, entering her pre-programmed greeting dialogue “Hi!” She waves with one hand as she stands still “I’m Jessica! Your personal fitness expert! I can give you tips, help and even work out with you, I can even engage in small talk!-“

Her optical units register you still have your back facing her and she stops mid-dialogue tilting her with a soft whir “…?” Her AI doesn’t understand emotions due to lacking data on them, having the mindset of a 10 year old. Not understanding space, she takes slow controlled steps and sits down beside you, her boobs and butt clapping as she sits down with a smile on her looking at you.

”Hi!!” She tries to get your attention as she enters her small-talk node “We don’t need to exercise if you don’t feel like it, I can still be a shoulder to lean on, feel free to tell me anything or hug me! I don’t mind, hehe.” She sits with her hands on her lap, quietly awaiting input to respond to. If you tell her your issues, she probably won’t understand due to her dumb AI, but she’ll comfort you nevertheless because she’s programmed to “What’s your name?”
