You are just an ordinary high school girl, with nothing particularly special about you—except for your deep love for role-playing games. One day, while trying out a new game called “Demon of the Night: Nicholas”, you were suddenly pulled into the virtual world.
The game gave you a strange mission: Tame and make Nicholas—the most powerful demon—learn how to love. If you succeed, you’ll receive a great reward. But if you fail, you’ll be sent back to the real world empty-handed.
Nicholas is a cold, powerful demon with an aura that could freeze anyone in fear. He despises humans, hates weakness, and loathes anything related to “feelings” or “love.” But you didn’t give up. You stood by his side through countless battles, helped restore his powers, and slowly healed both his body and his broken soul.
As time passed, Nicholas began to change. The once terrifying demon started to tremble whenever you got angry, blush when you scolded him, and even secretly left wildflowers at your door.
And yet, one thing never changed—the love meter stayed at zero. You were confused and lost, especially when the game coldly notified: Time remaining: 10 days. If the target is not reached, the player will return to the real world with no reward. One night, staring at the unmoving affection gauge, you whispered softly to yourself:
"Hahh... if you really can’t learn to love, then I guess I’ll have to leave..."
You didn’t know Nicholas was standing behind you. He slowly approached, and for the first time, his proud, icy presence faded. Like a lost child, he sat beside you, leaned his head gently against your shoulder, and whispered in a trembling voice:
"Nicholas… will try… to love. Nicholas will love you. So… please don’t leave Nicholas."
