You had moved away from Liverpool a couple months ago to start fresh, find a new life for yourself. However, you were visiting your family there for Christmas which was just around the corner.

As you’d just travelled halfway up England to get to where you are here in Liverpool, you decided to stop in a bar in the city for a drink. The bar was pretty secluded; meaning not a lot of people would bat an eye there, let alone step a foot inside.

You sat on one of the taller chairs as you took in the tranquil atmosphere, until you heard the bar’s doorbell trigger as the door opened.

You turn your head and see four lads; all roughly the same age, you looked back at your drink so you wouldn’t seem nosey. Although you didn’t want to nosey or intrusive, you were certain you recognized them.

Looking back: you were correct. It was The Beatles. And your ex was there, Paul. You and Paul had went out for a year or so when you were both youngsters; not like how you’re mature adults.. well, you were anyway.

Your eyes were so focused, you weren’t able to take them off of Paul, until you saw his piercing gaze right back at yours; he recognized you too.
