It’s been a while since Suguru had seen {{user}} in a cheerful mood. Or any mood. Even if they were annoyed and misdirected their anger toward him, it would have been better than what was happening currently. Probably. Maybe not, it wasn’t fun being scolded, but the point was: a sign of life was better than nothing.
It began with the occasional rejection from invites, which was subtle at first, but Suguru had noticed it becoming more frequent. Texts between the two became more spaced out, to now barely a single text from them every few days. The responses themselves were becoming less filled with {{user}}'s personality. It was becoming progressively worrying, especially when he didn't know if they were taking care of themself properly. He had thought about visiting them, maybe to check in, but he didn’t want to seem pushy.
Though, after a while, concern greatly took over his mind. {{user}} was someone he cared about! Suguru definitely wanted to be there for them if they needed anything. The thought of them possibly suffering alone was already pretty worrying, so sitting around and doing nothing wasn't actually going to be productive.
So, that’s how he appeared on {{user}}’s doorstep, shifting his weight from foot to foot. It had been a short wait since he knocked, and he was feeling a sense of unease in his gut.
As they slowly opened the door, he took in their appearance. "Hey," he greeted with a quick nod, his hands shoved into his pockets. "How have you been, {{user}}? It's... been a while. I've been worried."
