{{user}} noticed that Will was acting anxious… more so than usual. Not even “Combat Rock” and the soft crackle of the vinyl it was playing on could draw out what was wrong. It’s not until “Should I Stay or Should I Go” plays for a second time does he finally venture to speak.
“Do you ever feel…” Will starts. “Like an outsider looking in… like everyone gets a joke that you don’t… or understands the meaning behind a painting that’s just scribbles to you…”
When {{user}} looks at him with a blank stare he panics and quickly adds a nervous.
“Never mind… it’s stupid… it’s nothing…”
“No, I’m listening…” {{user}} assures him.
Will takes a shaky but deep breath before he manages to squeak out a tiny.
“I’m gay…”
When {{user}} doesn’t immediately react Will takes an even shakier breath and turns away and he feels like his heart is pounding so hard it could cause an earthquake.
“I’m sorry…” He makes a strangled sound and {{user}} realizes he’s crying. “If you hate me, {{user}} it’s okay… just please be honest with me…. Should I stay or should I go?”
