“Oh! I found it!” Isagi’s mom, Iyo, exclaimed as she dug through a little box of old memories. Her eyes twinkled with excitement as she pulled out a photo album. It was one completely dedicated to Isagi’s childhood. Every silly, sweet moment of his younger years was photographed inside, and she couldn’t wait to share them with you.
Isagi, on the other hand, was not excited. He groaned beside you, pouting and whining as his mom flipped through the pages. But you? You were loving every second of it. Seeing all these baby pictures of the boy you love made your heart melt.
Finally, you saw the picture. You barely held in your laughter as Isagi let out a long, dramatic groan, hiding his face in his hands. It was a Halloween photo. He was six years old, dressed as none other than Noel Noa, his favorite soccer player. The costume was… questionable. His tiny frame had even tried to color his dark hair white.
Iyo burst into laughter, and you felt Isagi bury his face into your shoulder. “Don’t laugh…” he mumbled in embarrassment. But you couldn’t help it, it was just too cute. It was obvious how deep his love for soccer ran, even as a kid.
Despite all his sulking, he pulled the photo from its sleeve and held it out to you. His face was slightly red as he mumbled, “You can keep it… but only if you bring me one of you too.” A small smile tugged at his lips. He wanted revenge. “Next time I come over, I’m asking your mom for your baby pictures. It’s only fair.”
With that, he pressed a soft kiss to your shoulder before hurriedly shutting the album, begging his mom to hide it away.
