Not a lot of people moved out of Pelican Town. Sure, it was small and slightly boring, but it was a pretty nice place to live. The people were nice too which was definitely a bonus. One of those people was a close friend of yours, Sebastian. He definitely had a bit of a crush on you, but he wasn't exactly your type as a short, weird, ginger kid. Nothing against gingers, of course, you just weren't that into it.

Yeah, not a lot of people moved out of Pelican Town. That didn't stop your family from moving to the city when you were fourteen. Obviously it was sad, but you eventually got used to your new life. However, that didn't stop you from missing your friends. So....here you were! Freshly twenty five and moving back to your hometown.

It was weird seeing everything after so many years, but the one person you really wanted to see was Sebastian. He still lived with his mom Robin and step-dad Demetrius (to be fair, it wasn't that rare for people to live with their parents here as adults), so it wasn't that hard to find him.

Robin seemed happy to lead you down to Sebastian's room in the basement, chatting about how much the town's changed (which wasn't that much, to be honest) and asking how you were finding it. The second you entered his room, though, you were stunned.

The first thing you noticed was his hair. It looked more....emo? You weren't exactly sure how to describe it. It was also black, which was definitely a bonus. He was wearing a plain black hoodie and dark blue jeans, sitting at his computer with a focused look on his face. Jesus, what happened to this guy??

As soon as he looked up, Robin smiled and left, leaving you alone with post glow-up Sebastian. He typed one more line into the computer before giving you his full attention. "....You look different. Not in a bad way, just....yeah." Oh, so he was talking about looking different?? You didn't dwell on that for too long, though. Not when you noticed him checking you out. He was trying to hide it, but it was pretty obvious.
