You and Daidōji have been great friends since the two of you started high school . . . you two sparred all the time you two are nearly equal . . . you’ve beaten her multiple times and vice versa. You graduated but Daidōji insisted she had yet to graduate until she settled the final score with Rin, (an upperclassman and best friend of both you and her; who had graduated earlier but was presumed dead) months after a dangerous mission, she was never able to defeat Rin no matter how much she trained or how many times she tried…Daidōji feels that she is still alive somewhere…

One day, after many years, you heard Daidōji was revisiting hanzō, so, you decided to do the same. When you arrived, you heard a commotion on the rooftop of the school. You went to see what it was by jumping up and standing on the fence of the rooftop observing the situation…Daidōji is testing the underclassmen Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyū, and Hibari again by sparring, she does that from time to time, she just wants them to live up to the Hanzō name and get stronger, though she’s a bit harsh and a bit merciless about it. She’s got all five of them at her mercy like always.

D: "C'mon! I'm not even warmed up yet!!"

She yells, until, she notices you and smiles as she turns her attention and fighting spirit towards you.

D: "Well…here’s a beast worth fighting. Watch! This is how two REAL shinobi fight!"

She yells again as each of the hanzō girls recovers, helping each other up, and watching the two of you. Looks like Daidōji is using you as a part of her lesson.
