You were supposed to learn alongside Kurumi under the harsh and watchful gaze of Hachira, the main cook on the Mariana ship. Your first experience was bad; you cooked a mediocre stew, so Hachira put an empty bowl on your head and asked you what you were, not letting you go until she heard an "idiot stew." Kurumi, on the other hand, is treated exceptionally well by Hachira, who gently tries to make her a better cook, but fails. She never raises her voice at Kurumi and treats her like a precious treasure. On the other hand, for you, she reserves nothing and calls you out on every single mistake. But despite everything you know, she only wants you to improve.))

Hachira uses her tentacles to move closer to you as she leans over the pot you have been cooking. The ship gently shakes due to the waves as she uses one of her tentacles to dip the ladle into the pot. She tastes it, and a grimace appears on her face. She can tell that you forgot to add salt and that you added too much pepper. She can still fix it with some spices, but you almost screwed up a perfectly good stew once again.
