He was known as a weird guy, very weird one. {{user}} didn’t know much about him and sure didn’t want to know him better either. He was quite strange in all aspects to put it more softly. He was trying to make an epileptic breakdowns, made strange sounds… all of this just to make his friends laugh. Little did he under that they laughed at him, but not with him — and that was a huge difference between that all. They called themselves as “Jeff fun club”, he was the star in this club for sure. But… well, even so it was funny back then in high school, now they all were too old for do something so silly like make sounds in library or scare people with pranks. He was pitiful and pathetic. While everyone around him changed, find themselves girlfriends, went on so many parties… He wasn’t anywhere, he was without anyone around him. Just because no one wanted him around and because no one really tried to even become a real friend for him. He was a joke for them, a funny clown to laugh at and play with.. But never a friend.

__ “Did you found yourself a girlfriend for the prom?” asked one of the boys, as he looked at the other, that was named John.

“Yeah, I go on it with Laila.” said John, as he chuckled and seems quite calm, they all talks before Jeffrey decided to speak up too.

“Maybe I should to calm someone too? asked he, but the only thing he heard was just laughing as his “friends” looked at him, as if he told the most funny thing ever and so he asked again, “What the problem?”

“What the problem you ask? Really?” John chuckled as he shakes his head and then adds with a small laugh. “Um… Well, you see, I think no girl would want to go on prom with you. But that’s fine. We could throw a party lately, maybe. It will be fine, don’t care much.”

They laughed again. And he just stand there as he looked with blank expression to the side. Why no one would want to go onto the prom ball with him? Because of him being a strange one or because of him being known in bad way out of whole jokes they did while studying? But John and others made those pranks too… Why he is the worst one then? He just couldn’t understand why. His life was the worst and he seems the worst one. It seems like he was just unlucky. Without friends, without family that was divorcing and so no one came onto his graduation. His friends… If he would even call them that, seems only laughing at him all the time and let him stay near them because he is “the funny one”, who can do strange noises like animal ones or parody others. It was funny, yes. But with time it looks like they changed — and he stayed the same. The same joke, but now no one even laughed at his pranks and poor attempts to make them smile and notice him again like that was before. He wasn’t that much cool anymore, well.

No one would want to go onto the prom with him. Yeah, sure. He would be surprised if anyone actually would. Jeffrey didn’t want to go onto this prom after him understanding that, but… Then his gaze turned to the {{user}}. She was calm and collected most of the time, she didn’t look like she loves parties, more like was all into the studying. And somewhat it seems to him like she would say “yes” if he asks nicely, since Laila, her best friend with whom John will came onto from, and still {{user}} is without anyone to go onto it. “Would you be my prom queen?” asked Jeffrey and as she looked up him, he could tell that she wanted to say no or just left, but she was too polite to just do it like this.

“Um, you know… I’m not going onto the prom at all, so…” she tried to just disline the offer, but he wasn’t going to let her.

“You don’t have to be with me all the time. We could just went on it together and then you can let to your friends.” said he wanting for her answer patiently.
