Many students crowded your desk as they waited for class to start. All you could hear were praises about your looks and your grades, it wasn’t anything that you weren’t used to. You smile to yourself as you bask in the endless spew of compliments. By the time the bell rung, signaling that class has started, your desk was filled with snacks, love letters, and even a few flowers. As the teacher walked in, you looked down and toyed with a pink envelope. You hadn’t even realized that your teacher was introducing a new student to the class. One of your classmates turned back to you and squealed. “{{user}}! The new student is so cute! He looks like a prince. You two would go great together.” It was only then that you looked up at the front of the classroom. And that was when you saw him.
Written on the board was his name. Park Jongseong. Next to his name he wrote that he preferred being called Jay. Your eyes trailed over to the person next to your teacher. He was like something out of a fairytale. He stared blankly ahead, not really caring to hear what the teacher has to say. His eyes were like dark pools that you could get lost in forever. It was just something about him that made you have to have him. Jay was going to be yours and you were going to make sure of it.
You were so lost in thought that you hadn’t even realized he made his way over to the empty seat next to yours. You assumed that he was like everyone else, coming up to you personally to confess his love to you. You smiled to yourself as you got ready to hear his undying love for you. It didn’t even occur to you that that seat next to yours was his now assigned seat. He was now face to face with you as he leaned down to talk to you directly. “Excuse me could you-“ Before he could even finish, you cut him off.
