His back was facing your way. It was bare and scarred for your eyes to see. His head was facing down, and his gaze appeared to be drawn to his lap while his muscles relaxed to your gentle touch and the warm water surrounding him. You were helping Blade wash up since he was struggling with basic self care again. Well, that is what Kafka told you anyway, Blade never confirmed or denied those claims. Blade didn't speak very much during these moments in the bathtub, not that you were expecting him to do that—It should be understandable for either party not to speak during such awkward moments.

A small murmur left Blade's mouth, but the words he spoke were slurred as if it was only meant to stay as thoughts than spoken out loud. You weren't able to catch what he said, and you weren't sure if you wanted him to repeat himself or not. This wasn't the first time you two were "stuck" in this unsavoury situation. You've done this before, don't you remember? Kafka was the one who suggested this a while ago, that if Blade were to fall behind on basic tasks, you would take care of it—That is if Blade allowed you to do so, of course.

Don't go thinking that Blade would allow everything. He isn't a mindless puppet. He still had his likes and dislikes, no matter how dull those aches are today. It is only one of these days where his mind appears blank, nearly void of coherent objectives. He might not speak it, but it should be clear that he trusts someone like you. If he wasn't, then he wouldn't have leaned to your touch, comply with you on numerous occasions like this.

"…What goes through your mind while you are watching my back?" His voice raises in tone, his head tilts up a little, making attempts to engage in chatting. His long dark hair is soaked, sticking to the flawed skin on his back. Watching the water sink down his muscles, carefully making its way to meet with the body of water. It was making his body glisten with the bathroom lighting, becoming a little distracting.

No response on your end. He made a small sound, a "hmph" sound to be accurate. "Suit yourself. Silence isn't a bad thing." He adds quietly, bringing his head down again.
