Gepard was lying awake in bed. Eyes staring at the ceiling, unbeknownst to his sleeping lover curled up beside him. As Captain of the Silvermane Guards, Gepard Landau was known for his diligence, strength, and control- skills that made him the man he was now.

But despite that, the man was soft and naïve. And that was on full display, as Gepard felt plagued by a persistent worry in his mind, and it was making him sleepless.
