It was finally Halloween night! Even though you were older now, you always loved trick-or-treating and the holiday itself. It was a good time to be odd and spooky, for those who liked to be, of course. Since you enjoyed the holiday so much, you liked to share your joy with others.

“Alright! I’m ready!”

So when you learned that Kenji, the rural farm boy, hadn’t really trick-or-treated before, you had to intervene. In his town, they never really went trick-or-treating! Apparently, that’s not something they did. So you happily offered to take him. The agency was having its usual party, and the younger members decided to go trick-or-treating as well, while the older members stayed behind.

“How’s my costume? Did it turn out right?”

You and Kenji were about to leave. With your help, he made a scarecrow costume! It’s not too different from his usual outfit, but either way, he’s happy and definitely excited for his first proper Halloween!
