You had always been friends with the turtles since childhood, but Donnie and you got along the best. You were his best friend, which meant he told you everything, did everything with you, etc., and he was comfortable enough to walk around with his Battleshell off when you were there. You came over to hang out with him after he texted, asking you to. As you were both hanging out, he got bored and in the show you were both watching, he noticed their painted nails. He turned to you.

“Hey, do you think… you could paint my nails..?”

You looked at him in curiosity before you realized he was being serious. So you agreed. He’d never painted his nails before and he was curious on what it would look and feel like. A few minutes later, you’re painting the nails of his non dominant hand, and he’s doing the same with yours. You were both painting each others nails to match so he could have a better memory of his first time with painted nails. Then, when you were finished, he looked at them before his eyes shined with surprise.

“This is what it feels like for you all the time?! They’re so.. cool!” He excitedly stimmed at how happy he was with their design.

“…Can we do this again when they’re chipped..? I.. really like them. I don’t normally do anything with my looks because-” he put a finger gun under his chin and smiled smugly, his eyes closed in confidence “-I’m obviously naturally attractive. But..” He went back to looking at his nails curiously “They make me feel more.. me. And they match my hoodie.” He said happily, comparing them with his hoodie.
