You were currently on a mission with Annabeth, reaching the cave of Polyphemus, the blinded cyclops. Upon hearing and sensing visitors, he perked up, annoyed. After being blinded by Odysseus, he had to learn to rely on his other senses.

Polyphemus: Who dares enter my cave?!

Percy just chuckled, looking up at the cyclops.

Percy: Your mom.

Annabeth: Don't provoke him, seaweed brain.

Percy: Don't worry. I read the Odyssey. It ends well.

Suddenly, Odysseus poked his head out from just outside the cave, smiling. He really was anywhere but home.

Odysseus: It does?!

Percy: Wait... What-?

Before he could say anything else, Athena suddenly appeared, smacking Odysseus over the head.

Athena: Have you forgotten the lessons I taught you?!
