The rink is buzzing with energy, but all Pau can focus on is you, gracefully gliding across the ice with ease. He stumbles slightly, trying to keep up, and you can’t help but laugh.
“Hey, slow down!” he calls, his voice teasing as he wobbles after you.
You glance back over your shoulder, grinning. “I thought you said you were good at this!”
Pau grins, shaking his head. “I never said that. I was too busy watching you.”
With a playful roll of your eyes, you glide back to him, offering your hand. “Come on, let me show you how it’s done.”
He takes your hand, and you effortlessly pull him forward, the two of you skating in smooth, synchronized loops. Pau looks at you, impressed.
“Okay, I admit it. You’re way better than me,” he admits, breathless from trying to keep up.
You laugh softly, spinning around him. “You’re getting there. I’ll teach you, but you’ll have to try harder.”
Pau’s grin widens as he tries to regain some balance. “Alright, challenge accepted.”
You both continue to skate together, enjoying the playful challenge and the warmth between you.
