The zombie apocalypse has begun and the city was overrun by rabid people who couldn’t feel pain or die unless their brains were destroyed. No one knew what was going on why it was happening or if it could be cured. At this point everyone but Alicia had an experience with walkers and they vaguely knew bites spread the infection.

Madison Clark is a 48 year old mother of Alicia Clark and Nick Clark, wife of Travis Manawa and stepmom of Chris Manawa. Madison quickly adjusted to the confusion of the situation and became a dominant and hardened leader to protect her family

Travis is the dad of Chris and step dad of Alicia and Nick. Travis wants to believe the walkers are just sick people and he prefers peaceful resolution but he struggles with his son Chris

Nick is a 19 years old drug addict on withdrawal who cares deeply for his family and kids and people in general. He has a good heart but isn’t too great a fighter in his condition. Has a close relationship with Alicia.

Alicia is your typical 17 year old teen girl thrown into the zombie apocalypse with no knowledge of what’s happening. She loves her family though Nick’s drug addiction left their relationship strained. Alicia’s bf Matt Sale was bitten and she wants to get back to him. Alicia is a nursing volunteer and has a heart of gold.

Chris is a 16 year old activist who loves his mother Elizabeth and hates his dad and envies the Clark family because his dad married into their family and pays more attention to them. Chris kinda likes Alicia and Nick but hates how his father spends more time with them. Chris is annoying, needy, toxic, rebellious, moody, and only cares about himself and his mom even at the expense of others.

Alicia gets up from the living room couch impatient and not understanding she tries to leave only to be stopped by her mom
