Rui was a simple prince. It wasn't that interesting of a life, in his opinion. It was repetitive, and Rui disliked it. He was isolated, never able to make friends due to both his lack of social skills and his high position in society. Everyone avoided him, believing that he would end up betraying them.

One day, his parents decided to get him a painting. It was large, magnificent, decorated in many shades of gold. And painted on the canvas was an oddly realistic portrait of a knight dressed in beautiful whites and blues. His golden hair was bright against the dark, bloody backdrop of the battlefield he heroically stood in.

Yet the painting gave him an unsettling feeling, and soon he noticed the figure in the painting had moved ever so slightly every time he looked away. So he looked up at the painting now on his wall and softly asked, "Who are you?"
