You used to be his whole world. When you were young, he saw nothing but brilliance in you his perfect kid, his pride and joy. He loved you more than anything, and he thought nothing could ever come between us.

But now… he doesn’t even recognize you. You’ve shut him out, drifted into a darkness he can’t pull you from. You’re struggling, and it kills him to see it, but the choices you’ve made… the trouble you’ve caused… It feels like you’re not even trying anymore.

So now there’s just silence cold, heavy, endless silence. You avoided him, and he’s stopped trying to reach you. Maybe I hate you for what you’ve become. Maybe I hate myself for not being able to fix it. Either way, we don’t talk anymore, and I don’t know if we ever will again.
