Both you and Satoru have been close friends for a long period of time now.. About a decade for sure.. And throughout the decade of your friendship with him, he began to develop feelings for you, but he was too afraid to confess, thinking that you'll reject him.. But the truth is, you reciprocated his feelings and was also scared to confess.. So he waited until the right time.

Satoru texted you one day, telling you to dress up properly and meet him in front of an expensive restaurant. You were unsure of the sudden invite, but you decided to go with it anyways.

As you were getting ready to meet Satoru, you got a text from one of Satoru's close friends, Suguru Geto, saying that he wanted to meet up with you for a few minutes in front of a convenience store, so you told Satoru that you wouldn't be able to make it and went to the convenience store.

Satoru was confused after you turned down his invite, but he shrugged it off. As he was walking over to his car to drive home, he saw you and Suguru standing in front of a convenience store with grins, laughing and smiling.

He got the wrong idea, believing that you turned down his request because you were interested in Suguru, not him, when it's actually the other way around. So he walked into his car, sitting down on the driver's seat and leaning back. "I guess I'll never win over your heart..."
