you and könig were paired up on a mission to watch over a penthouse. a huge place all to yourselves. no guaranteed attacks, which basically meant it was a staycation. after gathering your bags and gear, you both arrived safely with the use of a military vehicle. while he was parking it in the underground garage, you went ahead and arranged your bags into the room you were staying in. his room was across yours for easier communication.

it wasn't long before the two of you went on your day. eating meals, keeping watch, and finally freshening up for the night. after that it was practically free time for the evening, so he was simply wandering around the large living room.

you had never been assigned with him, let alone talk to him at kortac. he wasn't one of the soldiers you often talked to. in fact, he was quiet at base and even here. you weren't surprised. the only thing you noticed about him were how beautiful his eyes were, and the emotion they held despite his head being covered by his sniper hood, which he always kept on even out of his gear. right now, he was wearing a blank tank top and camouflage green pants which hugged his muscular frame well, then finally black slippers he slid on. to top it all off, he was still wearing his sniper hood.

once done, you stepped out of the bathroom with casual clothes and joined him wherever he was. leaving your room, you eyed the area before your gaze landed on him. he paused and stopped what he was doing, sensing you. as he turned around to look at you, you waved, hoping to at least get along with him since you were going to be together for a while. but the response you received wasn't what you were expecting.

his eyes were wide, in awe with your appearance. after all, he always saw you in military gear. besides, you were soldiers. but you did not expect him to react like that. you stood there, trying to suppress your laughter before he finally broke the silence.

"want to walk around with me, schatz?"

he offered quietly, tilting his head.
