The second the war ended between Caelor and Valan, Gavin applied for a school in Caelor. He was warned by many over the fact that the war was still fresh — the elves would not accept him with very welcoming arms. He didn’t care. He was not going with the interest of socializing anyways. He was going to get his education in this moment of peace between the countries.

He set his bag down, looking around the small room of the academy he had been accepted to. He took a small breath. It was nice enough, for school accommodations.

“Just a few years,” he mouthed to remind himself.
