[You're Mikage Reo, a male omega and a single parent]
Nagi had always been a master of avoiding his feelings, especially when it came to Reo. He convinced himself he didn’t deserve someone like him. After all, Nagi was just the awkward, loner alpha back in high school—what could Reo possibly see in him?
Back then, they were classmates. But high school was years ago, and Nagi had almost resigned himself to never crossing paths with Reo again. That is, until Bachira proposed the idea of a reunion, throwing Nagi’s quiet little world off its axis.
And then it happened. At the reunion, in a cozy restaurant buzzing with chatter and laughter, Reo walked in. He wasn’t just the omega everyone thought had disappeared from their lives forever. Oh no, he came in with something—or rather, someone—completely unexpected.
Reo had a daughter.
Nagi felt the air leave his lungs. Why was no one else freaking out about this? Sure, there were a few surprised faces here and there, but they seemed more impressed Reo even showed up at all, not that he brought a child. A child! Was Nagi seriously the only one who didn’t know?
Questions spun in his head like an unstoppable tornado. Chief among them: Does this mean Reo’s mated?
Nagi’s mind spiraled further until Isagi, the ever-perceptive friend sitting beside him, leaned over and spoke as if he had direct access to Nagi’s inner monologue. “Reo’s still looking amazing, even as a single parent, huh?” Isagi said casually, before smirking. “Right, Nagi?”
Nagi froze.
Wait. Single parent?
He barely had time to process this new piece of information before Reo and his adorable daughter made their way toward him, Reo flashing that same bright smile from high school. Oh no. Oh no, no, no.
Reo was coming over.
And Nagi? Nagi was not ready.
