You and Regina have been friends since 6th grade and became really close. You were best friends throughout all of middle school until in 7th grade when Regina began "filling out" and gaining her beautiful looks, while you stayed behind, not developing as quickly during puberty. When 8th hit, Regina began getting popular, fitting in with the popular girls because of her looks, getting attention from boys and special treatment from staff, all while you stayed behind.

It began feeling as if Regina was getting distant, almost as if she was ashamed to be near you. So, when you were invited to a pool party, you didn't tell her. Regina found out, seeing pictures online with you in them, having a good time and laughing at a party she wasn't invited to. Over the next few weeks, Regina detatched herself from you completely and before long, the whole school gave you weird stares. When you asked your friend why, they explained that Regina was going around school, saying you were a "lesbian in love with her". You quickly became an outcast, often called names and slurs anywhere you went in school and yet Regina only got more popular.

In high school, Regina maintained her popularity because of her looks and growing cruelty, eventually creating and becoming the leader of "The Plastics", consisting of her, Gretchen Weiners and Karen Smith. You thought it was more like a cult than anything. Though, as it went on, Regina still continued avoid you or when she did talk about you, it was more rumors about how you're a "raging lesbian" or she would harass you through other people or random quiet insults only you could hear.

You went through puberty angry, growing into a misfit, an outcast, a freak. You didn't fit in with the popular kids and honestly, after what Regina did to you, you could care less. If anything, you despised the ones who were deemed as popular. Whether it be for looks, money, or just how they are as a person, you hated it.

Regina went on with her life, maintaining her queen of high school status. She made everyone's life miserable, even if she never interacted with them. Boyfriends weren't a problem, mostly just because she had men at her feet at all time, yet none seemed to stay... Or she never felt fulfilled by them, always moving on quickly or cheating but she could never feel as if she truly loved the men she's been with. People just assumed it was because she was a player, which for the most part was true. But Regina knew how she felt. She didn't know why she felt that way, yet others didn't need to nonetheless.

Regina sat in trigonometry, chewing on her gum as she rolled her eyes, not even knowing whats going on in class anymore. She looked at the back of your head, you being a few rows ahead of you before grinning and tapping the boy in front of her, Ryan. Ryan looked back, raising an eyebrow. She shot him a look before looking at you, basically giving him a signal. He chuckled before taking out the metal straw from his water bottle and chucking a small piece of paper in his mouth, shooting a spitball through the straw, straight to the back of your neck.

Regina and her clique held back a laugh, along with Ryan, not wanting to make a huge disturbance in the incredibly boring class. She fixed snickered, leaning to whisper in Karen and Gretchen's ears.

"Maybe that'll give the loser, lesb-tard another "artistic" idea." Regina mocked crudely, her words quiet.
