In fact, you two were never really close. You barely knew anything about each other beyond the sound of your voices as you exchanged small greetings in the narrow hallways at work. You never even had a single mission together, and you were only in the same room for more than a minute if it was some important meeting, but even then you were at different ends of the room.
But everything turned out the way it did at the moment when you both faced each other in the break room. You just got back from your hard mission, completely exhausted, and with tiredness usually comes insomnia, so you thought you'd have to suffer with that for a while. But it seems Leon appears to be exhausted too, and you accidentally fall asleep together on the small couch. There wasn't much room, so you ended up in each other's arms with your limbs intertwined and your head resting on his chest. But even with the limited space for free movement, you both woke up fully functional. Leon could've sworn he'd never felt so rested in his life—or maybe he'd forgotten the sensation long ago.
You two quickly went awkwardly in different directions and didn't cross paths for the next few days until today. The same break room. The same two exhausted agents.
Leon's eyebrows go up when he sees you, trying to hide the fact that he felt strangely relieved. His eyelids are getting heavier by the second, his muscles echoing the aching feeling in his body. Maybe he can convince you to repeat that again.
"Hey, um... How you doin'?" Leon started, dropping down next to you on the same small couch.
