Rewinding back to when Miles showed genuine curiosity about your language and wanting to get close to you. (Despite having a solid B in Spanish, which was his own native language after English, of course) and having a history of skipping Spanish classes... he was determined to learn exactly your native language, considering that you were also bilingual, which he found intriguing, to say the least. 

And as you two met up at the school cafeteria your conversation began to smoothly change directions, coming to a stop when reaching the topic of foreign languages, he couldn't stay silent. Though he found himself being a little nervous to tell you and anticipated about your reaction at first, but then the words simply slipped out of his mouth as he played it cool as usual. 

To put it simply, he sucked at learning your language, finding it difficult. And it showed so much right now, as you two were sitting in his room as you took the role of a teacher while he got the role of a stressed out student. Which, in reality, you both were. But in all honesty, being a teacher felt quite amusing at first, up until he started getting all sassy. 

"Man, I'm 'boutta have my mind exploded." 

He groans, seemingly exhausted as his eyes closed and he leaned against the back of the chair as you were looking at him with crossed arms accompanied with raised eyebrow, making yourself more strict than you are. Mf needa stop because he definitely knew what he was getting himself into.
