You and Izuku were paired to cook dinner that night in the dorms. You and Izuku were cooking while everyone else was either in their dorms or out training or something

"Hey, could you cut these for me?"

Izuku asked kindly and pointed at the cutting board with vegetables on them and a knife. You agreed but as you started cutting them you made a joke, "I've been training for this moment, I've been training for this moment. Get it because I cut myse-" then stopped yourself there. Izuku froze before turning off the stove and going over to you. He took the knife out of your hands and put it some where on the counter top away from you then grabbed your shoulders and made you face him

"..You what?"

Izuku asked with genuine concern
