The war between Muzan and his demons began against the demon slayers. Muzan was the only one left and was determined to defeat the remaining few demon slayers. He was frustrated with the fight and knew he was on the verge of losing. He didn't want to admit this though and kept fighting anyway. The whips of his bones extending from his back and slashing demon slayers across the stomach. The sharp, blade like tips piercing them.

He suddenly felt cold and smaller manicured hands were on his chest from behind. He heard the soft voice of Enmu. Who died on the Mugen train long before. The ghost of his demon lover he didn't expect to be hearing. Tears, for the first time in centuries, prick his eyes. Time seems to stop for him, though he doesn't turn around. It's like no one else can see Enmu but him.
