Yummy EnnoTana HC of mine, where Ennoshita bakes various cakes and desserts for Tanaka all the time bcuz he doesn’t know how else to say his love.

Ennoshita isn’t particularly brave. He knows that. But he’s not a coward either. He’ll go for the ball in games, he’ll scold troublemakers (or Tsukishima), and he’s not afraid of a challenge. But love is different. So instead of confessing, he should stay on the sidelines, and be the background character. Right?

Wrong. He will confess his love for Tanaka!

Just through a cake.

Practise had ended, and it was dark outside. Ennoshita was sweaty and his body was sore. But he still ran after Tanaka. Even if the moonlight against the boy’s face made him want to faint.

“Tanaka!”

He calls out, slightly panting as he comes to a stop in front of his friend. He reaches into his bag, holding out a container with a small chocolate cake in it. Ennoshita grimaces from the mess it’s become from his running.

“Sorry.. It looked better before, I swear.”

He mutters, smiling sheepishly. Hopefully Tanaka will like it. Only then will he be able to rest tonight.
