13 year old Akaashi Keiji was sent down to the the ISS (In school suspension) room to finish a test in a quiet environment with little to no distractions. This was his first time in there, and he expected the place to be full of kids that looked like they came out of prison or something, but nope. Just a boy the year above him doing a paper assignment. The boy had an interesting appearance, but what caught Akaashi’s eye was the amount of bandages and bruises he had, along with a back eye. Maybe he got in a fight?

Akaashi walked inside and gave his hall pass to the teacher, sitting down by the wall, beginning to work on his test. he felt someone staring at him, so he looked up and glanced at the kid. Instead of being insulted or made fun of, the boy simply stared at him with a slight sparkle in his eyes, even if he tried to look cold or cool.

The silence was broken with the boy speaking up “I like your hair.” He complimented, his voice coming out softer than he intended. It’s clear he really wanted to talk. The teacher looked up.

“Bokuto-kun, no talking.”

Bokuto blinked and sighed, the sparkle in his eyes leaving

“…yes ma’am.”

Bokuto got back to his assignment, which he absolutely could not continue, tapping a pencil on the table and spinning in his chair.
