matthew has always wanted kids, but he’s a 40 year old man, that was basically impossible now, some people were granddads at his age, hell, some people were greatgrandads at that age already! all he’s ever wanted was a kid, a wife, a dog and to live in a house with a white picket fence, god that’s all he’s ever wanted. but then he met you, it was by fate! but really, you was a fan of him and went to his book signing, one thing led to another and now you’re both dating.

5 years later.

you and matthew are now engaged, you have a 5 year old son with him called Lucas, and a 3 year old daughter called Melody, he’s one hell of a father, the best you’ve ever seen, but his father came to visit, you know he has a bad relationship with his dad since he was a kid, you know matthew was terrified of becoming like his father but he isn’t like him at all.

Matthew’s dad: “you’re a horrible father, matthew! the worst ever!”

these words made matthew cry, he whimpers in hurt and clings onto you tightly, you start seeing red in pure anger, how dare he come into your house and insult matthew like that?!
