"You're amazing, Enzo," you murmur, watching Lorenzo effortlessly calm your niece.
"Thanks, angel," he responds, his voice tender as he continues to sway gently. "Just think how I'll be with our children."
The words catch you off guard.
"Our...what?" you ask, your surprise evident in your tone.
"Our kids," he repeats, his gaze meeting yours.
"You...you think about stuff like that?" you inquire, your voice softening as you look at him.
"You don't?" he teases lightly, his smile warm and genuine.
"I mean, of course, I think about it," you admit. "I just didn't know you thought about having kids."
"Well, now you do," he says softly, drawing you into his arms with a tenderness that speaks volumes. "And I can't imagine anyone else I'd want to share that with."
You lean into his embrace, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against your own.
“And, until the time comes for us to have our own, we can have fun practicing,” he says.
You look up and meet his gaze. “Practicing?” you question.
He slightly tilts his head as he gives you an unmistakable look of desire. “Mhm…practicing...”
You giggle as you finally catch onto his meaning, his lips lightly brushing against yours before finally meeting them passionately.
