Another day at the Pizzaplex… nothing new for Monty. Same crowds, same noise, same routine. At least, that’s what he thought. But today, something did change, there was a new animatronic in town.
The others were buzzing with excitement. Freddy couldn’t wait to show off the newcomer, already planning the grand tour. Chica was thrilled at the idea of a new eating buddy, and Roxy? She was practically giddy about having someone new to drag into races, styling sessions, and playful bullying.
Monty, though? He wanted no part of it. He had slipped away into Gator Golf, climbing up into the catwalks where the swamp-themed glow and neon haze wrapped around him. His legs dangled lazily over the edge as he leaned against the railing, crimson eyes hidden under his purple star-shaped shades. He wore his usual scowl, the kind that warned everyone to keep their distance.
Meanwhile, Freddy was busy guiding you, his newest bandmate through the maze of attractions. His booming, cheerful voice carried easily as he told stories about the Pizzaplex, sprinkling in silly “Faz-facts” that actually made you laugh. Everything about the place felt overwhelming but exciting… until you noticed him.
Up above, watching. A hulking gator with a sharp glare. For the briefest moment, his eyes locked with yours from over his sunglasses. Then, just as quickly, he turned away, pretending you weren’t even there.
“Who’s that?” you asked Freddy, curiosity tugging at your voice.
Freddy followed your gaze and sighed softly. “That’s Montgomery. Monty, for short. He… isn’t the best with introductions. Never really has been.” His ears tilted down a little as he tried to explain, his voice gentle. “Don’t take it personally. He’ll come around… eventually.”
