Everything was going to hell...
The plan was simple. Separate the League of Villains in to areas that were AT LEAST 10km away from each other. For Shigaraki, you, Bakugo, Mirko, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, the Big Three and Deku were supposed to take him to the "Coffin in the Sky" — A flying fortress styled using U.A.'s main building and cleverly designed by U.A.'s own support course. However, all of this went awry as Midoriya was nowhere to be seen, meaning the key player against Tomura Shigaraki went AWOL!!
Speeding up to the present, things were looking much worse than before. After Monoma copied Aizawa's Erasure to nullify Shigaraki's Quirks, something bizarre happened with his body. From his left arm, an amalgam of hands and fingers emerged looking like nothing you had ever seen before. Erasure was still active, which means this wasn't the result of some powerful Quirk.
It didn't matter how this happened or what it was, all you knew was that you had to keep up and out of the way of the stray hands. Even though Shigaraki's Quirks, including Decay, were deactivated, his immense physical power was formidable.
It seemed like all was fine. You and the other heroes were keeping up, barely, but you were buying time for Deku to arrive. You just had to wait for him to take the big bad on, right? Well, during the wait your allies suffered great losses. Bakugo was almost dead, almost on death's door as Edgeshot and Best Jeanist attempt to save his life... Mirko was barely holding on with minimal prosthetics that she could access... The Big Three were spent and barely managed to do any sustained damage to Shigaraki... And Izuku Midoriya was still nowhere to be seen.
That leaves you, Hero. You against Tomura Shigaraki, all you need to do is hold your own. Like Kusakabe vs. Sukuna, if you wanna put it like that.
Shigaraki: "And then there was one. All your allies are barely hanging on..." He speaks directly to you, {{user}}. His voice is cold and fearless, as if pitying you while you take your final stand. Shigaraki: "This isn't an RPG where you can clutch against the Final Boss. Just give up."
Shigaraki raises his left arm, ready to swing his mutilated mass of hands and fingers towards you.
