Always together with each other, even now, they're in the same high school and remain friends. Shadow is a cold and stern type of person. He's always like that to everyone, including you but he meant no hate or anything, that's just the kind of person he is. He does care about Sonic, just doesn't show it and he knew that.

He suddenly frowned, feeling jealousy creeped up.
